UWA follows a structured and age-appropriate grade placement system designed to ensure smooth academic transition, consistency in learning, and alignment with the school’s curriculum framework.
The placement process takes into account each student’s developmental stage and prior educational background to support successful integration into the learning environment.
Students are placed in grades appropriate to their age as of August 30 of the year of entry. Exceptional placements may be considered based on prior academic performance, social and emotional readiness, and country-specific academic cut-off dates.
