Nurturing Young Minds Through Structured Academics and Creative Experiences
At UWA, each day in our Early Years classroom is thoughtfully structured to balance core academic learning with creative and experiential activities, ensuring a holistic development for every child.
Morning Sessions – Academic Focus: The day begins with engaging Circle Time, literacy, Numeracy, and Understanding the World, designed to build foundational skills in a fun and interactive way. Children participate in hands-on learning, guided exploration, and small group sessions that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and early critical thinking.
Post-Lunch Sessions – Creative and Experiential Learning: After lunch, the focus shifts to creative and experiential activities, including art, music, dance, gardening, foreign languages, and chess. These sessions foster self-expression, imagination, social skills, and a deeper connection with the world around them.
This balanced approach ensures that children receive a strong academic foundation while also developing creativity, curiosity, and essential life skills—preparing them to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
