Dr. Rafiq Simnani is a leading laparoscopic surgeon in the valley, distinguished as the first postgraduate in laparoscopic surgery from Government Medical College, Srinagar. With over 16 years of experience and more than 7,500 surgeries completed, he has trained extensively with renowned experts nationwide and has presented his innovative techniques at numerous national and international conferences. His pioneering contributions include introducing single-hole and two-port laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries in Kashmir and performing the world’s first single-port laparoscopic triple organ surgery.
